Pinnacle makes two actuarial promotions
Pinnacle Actuarial Resources has promoted Laura Maxwell to director and consulting actuary and Jordan Paszek to consulting actuary.
Maxwell joined Pinnacle in 2005 and is focus of her actuarial practice includes public entities, enterprise risk management, loss reserving, predictive analytics and others.
She has been in the property and casualty industry since 1987, serving as a consultant since 2003. She is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). She is a member of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) casualty loss reserve seminar planning and e-forum committees, and is a syllabus part vice chair of the syllabus and examination committee.
She is also a member of the American Academy of Actuaries (AAA) cyber risk task force, a member of the actuarial science advisory board at the University of the Pacific and a certified specialist in predictive analytics (CSPA).
Paszek has been with Pinnacle since 2015, most recently in an associate actuary role, and has contributed to the analyses for multiple group captives and insurance companies in a variety of roles. He has experience conducting actuarial studies for captives, self-insureds and traditional insurance companies involving loss reserving, loss cost projections, risk margin calculations, simulation methods and commercial lines ratemaking.
Paszek is an associate of the CAS and is a member of the CAS member advisory panel.
