SIGMA unveils brochure to demystify captive insurance and formations
SIGMA has developed a new PDF resource and brochure as a guide to the captive formation process and SIGMA’s potential role within it.
The brochure provides a high-level captive overview as well as addressing some more specific and fundamental questions, including what exactly a captive is and why a company might choose to create one, and, crucially, how to go about doing that.
It also highlights SIGMA’s analytical capabilities in the captive area and the data required to begin the analytical process.
SIGMA noted that many potential captive owners it had spoken to over the years had been unaware of the role an actuary plays in captive formation. The brochure is intended to remedy that fact, it explained.
