SRS Altitude taps Swiss Re for chief commercial officer

Strategic Risk Solutions’ Swiss MGU SRS Altitude has tapped Swiss Re for a second senior executive. 

SRS Altitude was formed last November as an independent entity based in Zurich to help SRS expand its client services portfolio. 

Tom Keist, now global captive solutions leader at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, will be joining SRS Altitude as Chief Commercial Officer effective April 1. 

Keist’s appointment comes after SRS announced in November that Loredana Mazzoleni Neglén, former Swiss Re Corporate Solutions senior executive, had been appointed as global chief executive. 

SRS said then it had recruited several seasoned alternative risk transfer and corporate insurance industry experts who would join the company in the coming months. 

Keist will lead Altitude’s business development globally and drive key strategic initiatives to grow the business across all types of non-standard solutions.

Keist has more than 25 years' experience in P&C re/insurance across sales, underwriting and alternative risk transfer. Keist has held various leadership roles at Converium and Zurich in the past.

Altitude is set to begin operations in this quarter.
