SRS hire as it builds out European consulting business

Strategic Risk Solutions, the world’s largest independent insurance company manager has appointed Kathryn Anderson as a new director in its European consulting practice. Anderson will join next month and report to practice leader Derek Bridgeman.

Based in the UK, Anderson was with Marsh in the country for 24 years and for the last eight worked in its captive advisory practice. While there she advised global clients across industries on how captives and other formalized risk retention structures could add value to their businesses.

Bridgeman, who joined SRS from Marsh last May to develop and lead the company’s risk consulting practice in Europe, said: “I am thrilled to welcome Kathryn to the growing SRS team,” said Bridgeman. “Having worked alongside her at Marsh, I saw first-hand Kathryn’s ability to understand a client’s objectives at all times and, through an analytically-driven feasibility process, provide them with risk financing solutions tailored to their risk profile.”
