Tello tapped to be single parent captives director, Americas
Alonso Tello (pictured) has been appointed as AXA XL's regional director, single-parent captives, Americas.
In a statement on LinkedIn Sylvain Bouteillé, head of specialty and of alternative risk solutions, Americas at AXA XL said: “Alonso brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our Alternative Risk Solutions team, with a proven track record of driving growth and innovation in the captives space. His strategic vision and commitment have been instrumental in strengthening our offerings and expanding our reach across the region.”
Tello said that he is excited to step into the role of Regional Director, Single-Parent Captives, Americas.
In a statement that was also released on LinkedIn he said: “We're doubling down on our focus in the captive space across the Americas - strengthening collaboration across product lines and delivering smarter, more streamlined solutions for our clients.

Tello joined AXA XL in October 2019, as vice president, captives & alternative risk transfer, based in Toronto. Before his recent promotion he was VP - alternative risk transfer - SRS (Americas) & captives (Canada), having been appointed in July 2024.
