VCIA appeals for topic submissions for VCIA 2025

The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) is now taking topic submissions for the educational content of its 40th Anniversary Conference, on August 11-13, 2025, in Burlington Vermont. 

Captive insurance professionals can submit multiple topic submissions through this survey link.

The deadline for submissions is the end of Friday October 11th.

In a statement VCIA said: “Considered one of if not the best educational event for captive insurance, VCIA welcomes submissions that address the latest issues facing captive insurance, as well as provide concrete takeaways. Content should include a captive owner highlighting personal experiences and real case studies.”

According to the VCIA some potential topic areas to consider include:

• Topics for existing captives, use of reinsurance, "next steps" for established captives, etc.

• Topics for young professionals and captive basics

• Captives 301 advanced level sessions on particular captive coverages like medical stop loss, cyber or property

• Topics directed at different industry segments and captive types beyond pure captive

• New technologies within the insurance industry that will drive the future of risk management

• Professional development topics which are relevant to those in the industry
