VCIA to bust captive myths with December webinar

Registration is now open for the Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA)’s Q4 2025 webinar entitled: “Captive Taxation: Myth Busters” on Thursday, December 11th 2-3pm EST.

The event is CPE/VT-CLE and ICCIE credit eligible and is a part of the VCIA’s World Class Education strategic pillar

According to the VCIA the event is to allow attendees to earn professional credit and enjoy an end-of-year roundup and assessment of captive tax trends from industry tax specialists.

Moderated by Courtney Doherty, director of global captive management, Hylant, the speakers include Conor McKenzie, counsel at Downs Rachlin Martin and Alicia Miller, senior tax manager at Crowe.

The webinar’s content advisors are Dan Kusaila of Crowe; and Charles "Chaz" Lavelle of Bingham Greenebaum Doll.
