Zurich taps Moore to lead group captives

Matthew Moore (pictured) has announced that he has been appointed to the position of head of group captives at Zurich North America.

Moore previously worked at The Hartford for more than sixteen and a half years. 

He joined the company in 2009 as a financial analyst and became assistant director of finance in 2014.

He then worked his way up to become senior underwriter in 2014, practice leader in 2017 and then head of underwriting for captives at The Hartford in April 2023.

Prior to that he was a product management intern at Savant Systems from 2006 to 2009.
