CICA conference set to break records

The Captive Insurance Companies Association 2014 International Conference—which kicks off in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Sunday—will boast more than 560 attendees and a sold out exhibit hall.

According to Dennis Harwick, president of CICA: “we’re excited by the outstanding participation in this year’s conference with over 100 attendees more than last year. It’s a recognition we’re in a dynamic time for the captive industry and we have a lot to share and learn from each other as we explore ‘Captives: Global Opportunities and Solutions.”

Educational sessions will focus on emerging coverage trends, taxation issues and risk management strategies.  Exhibitors include captive and risk managers, claims managers, ratings agencies and actuarial consultants.

“We expect our sold out expo with 49 exhibitors to be a great networking environment for attendees to meet service providers and gather information about the latest developments and new resources in the captive arena,” Harwick said.
