CICA keynote announced
New York Times best-selling author and leadership speaker Don Yaeger will deliver the keynote at the Captive Insurance Companies Association’s annual conference, it has announced.
Yaeger is an award-winning speaker, business leadership coach, and long-time associate editor for Sports Illustrated. He draws business lessons from great sports teams and previously spoke at CICA’s Fall Forum, where he got an “outstanding response”, according to CICA President Dan Towle.
“As a result, we wanted to bring him back to share his insights on ‘Becoming a Team of Great Teammates’ to our International Conference,” said Towle.
Leon Rives II, chief visionary officer for RH CPAs, PLLC, which sponsors the keynote address, welcomed the announcement.
“Don Yeager’s insights are valuable to those of us who are sharing our knowledge with newer members of the industry and to those who are just getting to know captives,” he said. “Creating a culture of greatness really does require an entire team of great teammates who are performing at their best.”
The 2023 CICA International Conference, titled “Accelerating Captive Innovation”, will take place from 5 to 7 March at the Westin Rancho Mirage in California. It will feature 30 education sessions, professional development opportunities, essay contest winner presentations, and networking receptions and events.
Registration is open online, and the Early Bird registration deadline is 9 February.
