Consilium gets Jersey license
Consilium has announced that it has been granted a license by the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) to provide local expert insurance broking counsel to professional and financial lines (FL) firms in Jersey.
Consilium already has a license to operate in Guernsey, as announced in 2022, together with news of its Guernsey office opening and the appointment of a number of leading FL brokers including Nick Bachmann (based in Guernsey) and Neal Hughes, both managing partners at Consilium.
Paul Richards, joint chief executive of Consilium comments: “Thanks must go to the JFSC for their support throughout the application process. We’re delighted to now add Jersey to our Channel Island portfolio and we look forward to developing new relationships and supporting existing clients on the island.
“Serving the international financial services community is a key part of our strategy which is why we have invested heavily in this area. Consilium now has the most experienced broking team working in the international financial centres and the investment management community. They understand the particular needs of Jersey-based firms and will be managing professional and financial lines and cyber insurance globally for direct policyholder clients and retail and wholesale broking partners across the Channel Islands.”
