Global Captive Management makes three senior promotions
Global Captive Management (GCM), a captive manager licensed in the Cayman Islands, South Carolina and New Jersey, has promoted three of its employees to its senior management team.
Both Jennifer Reid and Ian Bridges have appointed as senior vice presidents, and Alanna Trundle named vice president.
Reid is one of GCM's longest standing employees, joining almost 15 years ago. She also serves as the secretary of the executive committee of the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC).
Bridges has over 16 years of industry experience in both management and tax. He has previously served as a director of tax at PwC in the Cayman Islands, and senior manager at KPMG. He joined GCM in 2018 to focus on client development and is responsible for operations in both South Carolina and New Jersey.
Trundle joined GCM in 2010 and previously served as assistant vice president. Prior to this she was a senior accountant at Deloitte Cayman Islands. Her expertise includes working with cell, group, public company and not-for-profit owned captives. She manages some of GCM's largest clients.
Both Bridges and Trundle sit on IMAC's forum committee.
“The promotion of both Jennifer Reid and Ian Bridges to Senior Vice President is merited on their personal accomplishments. Together with Monique MacDonald, senior vice president, they are key to the ongoing and future management of the Company as we prepare to head into yet another new decade in the industry.” noted Peter MacKay, CEO and chairman.
MacDonald commented: “GCM is excited to add Alanna Trundle to its management group. She has spent her entire captive carrier with GCM, joining the Company in 2010. GCM was quick to recognise her outstanding ability and her promotions throughout her time at GCM is a testament to her value to clients and our company.”
MacKay added: “I’ve often said GCM has two main assets, people and reputation. These individual promotions are integral to this long held belief. They all talented and keenly dedicated and represent a combined 40 years of captive experience. It is without question our management team continues to have all the key elements to grow in the ever-changing captive insurance industry.”
