Marsh taps Accenture for new cyber risk consulting role

Marsh has appointed Kevin Richards to the newly created role of global head of cyber risk consulting, based in Chicago.

In this role, Richards will be responsible for leading the strategic development and delivery of Marsh’s cyber risk consulting business worldwide, closely collaborating with its regional and local cyber risk specialists as well as Marsh’s cyber insurance brokerage teams.

He will report to Michael Poulos, president of Marsh Risk Consulting and global head of client advisory services.

Richards most recently served as head of Accenture's North America security practice and its global security strategy and risk practice.

He is recognised in the cybersecurity and consulting industries, having been inducted into the Information System Security Association (ISSA) Hall of Fame for his contributions to the information security community and the security profession.
