The Guernsey International Insurance Association (GIIA) has announced that Adele Gale has been appointed as the chair of GIIA, and James Stewart as the deputy chair.
According to GIIA they will lead the association’s committees and working groups to support the promotion of Guernsey, develop new products, provide learning opportunities, and lobby for change.
In a statement the GIIA said: “This year marks the 40th anniversary of GIIA and recently celebrated 100 years since the establishment of the first captive in Guernsey. This year we look to celebrate 25 years since the creation of the PCC legislation in Guernsey.
“To ensure that the island continues to innovate and grow, we will look to launch initiatives in 2023, focusing on recruitment into the insurance industry and further developing our ESG framework.”
