Towle hails CICA numbers

Dan Towle, president of the Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA), has hailed the attendance numbers at last month’s CICA annual conference in Palm Springs, California.

In a statement released to attendees, Towle said that it had been great to see and talk with so many CICA members and industry colleagues at the conference.

According to Towle there were more than 580 attendees at the event, with more than 270 to them being there for the first time.

Towle added that there had been more than 120 captive-owner attendees, 110 speakers at the sessions, 54 exhibitors and 38 sponsors at the conference.

“I came away energised by the spirit of community and excited about the ideas shared for accelerating captive innovation,” said Towle. “I want to again thank our program committee for putting together a great agenda of timely, relevant topics and wonderful speakers.

“And a special thank you to our supportive sponsors and exhibitors for investing in helping us provide a great conference with a wide array of resources for attendees. Our media partners provided outstanding coverage that helps us share this valuable education and best practices with a wider audience.”
