BCC unveils list of speakers for 2024 conference

The Bermuda Captive Conference (BCC) has revealed the names of the speakers that will take part in some of the sessions of this year’s event.

According to the BCC, for the session titled ‘Setting the Standard in Jurisdictional Excellence’, the speakers will include Heidi Lawson, equity partner, Fenwick, Matt Aulds, VP finance & legal, Sensible Weather and Grainne Richmond, executive vice president, head of captives, Aon & president, Bermuda Captive Network.

The ‘Innovative Uses of Captives’ will feature: Sarah Hopkins, insurtech/fintech regulatory associate, Fenwick, Kirk Barnett, AVP – account executive, WTW Captive Management, James Wencil, consulting actuary, Pinnacle Actuarial Resource and Justin Doherty, president & chief executive, IML.

The ‘Pooling Prosperity: The Benefits of Risk Pooling for Captives’ discussion will feature:  Tanja Korff, Bermuda client services leader, senior vice president, Marsh Captive Solutions, Nicola Hallett, managing director, captive management, North America, Artex Risk Solutions and Sophia Greaves, director, head of Bermuda Insurance & Reinsurance Practice, Conyers. 

The session entitled ‘Captive Strategies: Maximising Your Captive in Softer Markets To Help Through Harder Markets’ will feature Nick Frost, president, Davies Captive Management, Hugh Barit, chairman & chief executive, Performa and Mike Meehan, principal, Milliman.

‘Fiscal Horizons: Exploring Impacts of Corporate Income Tax in Bermuda’ will include: Sarah Robey, tax partner, KPMG in Bermuda, Crystal Pittendrigh, tax director, PwC Bermuda, Michael Regan, tax consultant, Ministry of Finance, Donay Viljoen, tax, Forvis Mazars in Bermuda and Jennifer Masters, SVP – Bermuda captive leader, Brown & Brown.
