Dual hire of captive veterans for PMA Specialty Markets

PMA have announced the hire of two industry veterans to boost their captive and formations business offering.

Chris Kramer joins as national account executive after four years as the managing director of Green Mountain, the largest independently-owned PCC in Vermont. He will be responsible for driving profitable grown of new captive and group opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients. He has 35 years of experience in the P&C and alternative risk financing industry. As well as contributing to a number of published articles on captives, he has been credited with the creation of a number of group and cell captives during his career.

Steven Woodard becomes captives and programs leader responsible for successful implementation and oversight of new captive formations while coordinating the service of existing alternative market clients. He has 35 years of underwriting experience with a two-thirds of that in the alternative risk financing arena with companies including Zurich and Lockton Affinity. He also has extensive experience working with programs.
