Eni gets new captive insurance manager

Matteo Ventura (pictured) has been appointed finance and control manager, captive insurance, at Eni Spa.

He is based in the greater Milan metropolitan area.

Ventura was previously corporate financial controller & insurance management at Eni, having joined the company in August 2024, still in Milan. 

Prior to that he was head of FP&A, reporting & financial controlling at chemical company Versalis, a subsidiary of Eni. He started at Versalis in 2017 as a finance business analyst & controller.

He worked for telecommunications company Wind Tre from April 2007 to May 2017, again in Milan.
