Former Higginbotham captive executive Nick Rollo moves to GPW

Nick Rollo (pictured) has been appointed director of captive business development at GPW, based in Austin, Texas.

In a statement on LinkedIn GPW said: “Nick brings extensive experience in building and leading captive insurance solutions, most recently as captive executive at Higginbotham, where he developed both single-parent and group programs across industries.

“He also holds the certified risk manager (CRM) and certified insurance counsellor (CIC) designations, reflecting both technical expertise and a commitment to advancing alternative risk strategies.

“At GPW and Associates, Inc., Nick will focus on expanding opportunities for organisations seeking conflict-free, tailored captive solutions that reduce volatility, improve transparency, and align risk management goals.”

Rollo was previously at Higginbotham, also in Austin, for just over four years. His past position at the company was captive executive - single parent and group captives from May 2024 to August 2025, where he led single-parent captive consulting and sales across various industries and developed group captives for agency book of business as well as professional/trade associations.
