H&M Group registers captive in Sweden

H&M Group's reinsurance captive Hennes Insurance is now registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office, it has been reported.

According to Swedish news sources on September 7 last year H&M submitted an application for a concession for a Swedish reinsurance captive, Hennes Insurance Försäkringsaktiebolag.

It is now reported that The Financial Supervisory Authority has decided to announce a concession and the company was registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office in July 2024.

The reports added that according to the articles of association, the company must conduct reinsurance operations within insurance classes that include accidents, disease, freight transport, fire and natural forces, other property damage, general liability and others.
