Lockton appoints US group captive practice leader

Lockton has appointed Aimee McCall (pictured) to the role of US group captive practice leader.

In the role McCall will lead Lockton’s relationships with major group captive providers while also working closely with account teams across the organisation to help match clients and prospects with the right captive solutions.

McCall joined Lockton in January 2025 as a risk manager after nearly two years with Woodruff Sawyer as a client adviser.

She previously spent more than eight years as vice president of risk control at Captive Resources.

Altogether she has more than 20 years of experience across the risk management, brokerage and insurance carrier side.

Throughout her career, she has worked with clients across a wide range of industries, including transportation, construction, technology, and retail services.

Prior to joining Lockton last year, Aimee led multiple captive engagements, provided training and resources to associates, and facilitated committee sessions and board of directors meetings for C-suite executives and business owners.

“Aimee’s deep captive expertise, client-focused approach, and proven leadership make her exceptionally well suited for this role,” Lockton said in a LinkedIn post announcing the promotion.
