A&M hires former EY captive specialist

Marissa Massimore has become the latest member of EY’s captive insurance team to join Alvarez & Marsal.

She becomes a director in A&M’s New York office.

Massimore joined EY as a tax senior in 2021, and was promoted to tax manager in 2024. Her experience includes a history of working in the indirect tax, captive insurance, and international tax sectors of public accounting.

Other positions held include time as a tax associate at PM Business Advisors and as an international tax consultant at Deloitte.

Prominent captive industry figures Mikhail Raybshteyn and Paul Phillips left EY at the end of 2025 and at the start of this year joined A&M to lead its new insurance division.

They were joined at A&M by another key member of EY’s captive insurance team, Jim Bulkowski, in June.
