Miller has announced its continued expansion in Asia with the launch of Miller Malaysia.
Building on its established presence across the region, Miller Malaysia’s initial offering under its Labuan licence will focus on treaty and facultative reinsurance, with plans to broaden its product capabilities over time.
According to the company the launch represents a further milestone in Miller’s accelerating Asian growth strategy, following the opening of Miller Korea in January 2025 and the acquisition of Japanese broker Lead Insurance Services in 2022. With key talent already secured in the region, including Jo Garnett and Hui Sin Low, and additional new talent joining in late 2026, Miller is well positioned to deepen client relationships and pursue further growth opportunities in this important insurance market.
The expansion reflects Miller’s wider international growth trajectory and follows a strong set of full-year results for 2025.
Ron Whyte, Head of Asia at Miller said: “Malaysia is a significant Asian market and I am incredibly excited to be reestablishing the Miller brand in the region. We continue to be one of the fastest-growing players in Asia, building on milestones such as the launch of Miller Korea and our diversification into Japanese non-marine lines. With Miller Malaysia, we are continuing to demonstrate real momentum as we extend the scope and reach of our market-leading specialist capabilities.”
