Montana CSI appoints new lead financial analyst

Dakota Terry (pictured) has been appointed to the position of lead financial analyst - captive insurance regulation, at the Montana Commissioner of Securities and Insurance.

She is based in Helena, Montana.

Terry was previously a financial examiner/analyst, captive insurance program with the Montana Commissioner of Securities and Insurance from June 2022 to October 2025, again based in Helena.

She started at the regulator as a captives program intern from June 2021 to August 2021, as she studied for her Bachelor of Science degree in financial engineering at the University of Montana-Bozeman.
