New commissioner of Vermont DFR appointed
Kaj Samsom (pictured) has been appointed as the new commissioner of the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation, effective immediately.

Samsom was chief auditor and director of government relations at National Life Group. He was a tax commissioner at the State of Vermont from January 2017 to June 2019, based in Montpelier, Vermont.
