New EMEA director at MAXIS GBN

MAXIS Global Benefits Network (MAXIS GBN) has appointed Damian Allepuz (pictured) as Regional Director – EMEA within its global business development (BD) team. 

Allepuz has been promoted from his role as regional manager for Western Europe, taking over from Aaron Brown who is leaving MAXIS to take on a new opportunity in the EB intermediary market.

Allepuz is responsible for all outbound business development across EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). He will lead the MAXIS GBN BD teams in the region, ensuring the best possible service for its clients, network members and intermediaries. According to the company since joining MAXIS in 2020, he and his team have doubled the company’s premium volume with Western European multinationals and tripled the number of large European captive clients.

Allepuz commented: “I’m delighted to be taking on this new role and leading our talented BD teams across EMEA. I look forward to collaborating with the teams to help MAXIS deliver the best possible service to our clients and partners in the region.”

Allepuz has over 22 years’ experience in the insurance industry where he has held a number of senior sales positions. He holds a General Management degree from Louvain School of Management, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, and an Executive MBA from HEC (Hautes Études Commerciales), Paris.
