Advantage Insurance Holdings appoints CEO

Advantage Insurance Holdings, a specialty insurance services company based on the Cayman Islands, has appointed Walter Keenan as its president and chief executive officer.

In addition, Fiona Moseley has been named chief operating officer and company co-founder Ian Kilpatrick was named vice chairman of the board of directors.

Keenan served as a consultant to Advantage until last year. He has worked previously as an executive chairman of Medicus Insurance Holdings in Texas. According to Simon Kilpatrick, senior vice president—business insurance: “I am confident that Walter’s leadership will be of great help in achieving our goal of becoming the premier company in private placement life insurance and captive management services.”

Keenan said: “It has been a privilege to work with Ian, Fiona and the Advantage team to develop our new and innovative growth strategy. I am honoured that they have asked me to become CEO, and I look forward to helping Advantage capitalize on the exciting growth opportunities we have identified over the past year.”
