AIG unveils new captive solutions leaders

AIG has unveiled two appointments to the AIG Captive Solutions leadership team.

Ryan Gustafson is now the head of captive solutions, where he is responsible for establishing and communicating the vision, value proposition and long-term strategy for the three portfolios within AIG Captive Solutions.

Gustafson joined AIG in October 2016 as head of multinational in Canada. He was promoted to head of multinational for North America in September 2018.

Secondly, Daniel Hatton has been appointed as head of group captives and is responsible for driving the development and implementation of the team’s strategic plan as well as distribution and client engagement.

“I am really looking forward to leading the Captive Solutions organization for AIG,” said Gustafson. “This team is deep in talent and if the first few days are any indication, there is a great energy around this business. The captive insurance space is growing, it’s dynamic and we are well positioned to be a strong business partner into the future.”
