Aon names Karen O’Donnell as client director for PFI and infrastructure

Aon has appointed Karen O’Donnell as a client director within its PFI and infrastructure team, a specialist practice that sits within its construction division.

O’Donnell has more than thirty years of insurance experience, having held roles as both an underwriter and broker. She joins from Marsh where she was most recently project risk consultant for the PPP/PFI market.

Before that O’Donnell held senior roles at Willis UK and Bruce Stevenson. She began her career as an underwriting assistant for Royal Insurance UK and Eagle Star Insurance Co.

O’Donnell reports to Paul Tubb, executive director and PFI team leader, and is based in Edinburgh.

Tubb said: “As we continue to focus on building and strengthening Aon’s PFI and Infrastructure offering, and cementing its position as a market-leading practice, it is vital that we continue to attract top industry talent.”
