Artex unveils new Cayman client services director

Artex Risk Solutions has appointed Joni Steffen as a client services director of its Cayman office.

Steffen will be responsible for overseeing Artex’s client relationships, leading strategic initiatives and managing the client services team in the region. She will report to Suzanne Sadlier, managing director - Cayman Islands, Artex.

Steffen brings over 17 years of financial services experience to Artex. Prior to joining Artex, she worked as a senior vice president for a global risk management firm in Cayman. She also served as an Audit Manager for an international assurance, tax and advisory firm, also based in Cayman.

Steffen is also experienced in analysis of investment portfolios including private equity, hedge funds, derivatives and specialty finance lending. She has experience across several industries including group captives, MGA and fronted reinsurers, SPCs, long-term annuity, healthcare, legacy run-off solutions, casualty pooling, chemicals, pharmaceuticals and transportation.
