Atlanta captive manager River Oak Risk appoints VP


River Oak Risk, a captive management firm headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, has appointed Jay Florence as vice president.

Florence formerly served as deputy commissioner for the Georgia Department of Insurance. Prior to that, he served in several capacities at the Department, including legal counsel to the division of insurance and financial oversight, legislative liaison and assistant commissioner. He also served for one year as the chief of staff ot the president Pro Tempore of the state senate.
