AXA XL announces new head of global programs, APAC & Europe

Shiwei Jin has been appointed head of global programs, APAC & Europe at AXA XL.

She will continue to be based in Hong Kong, where she was previously global program & captive regional director APAC at AXA XL from June 2019 to January 2023.

Before that she was AXA XL’s global program & captive regional director, Asia, again in Hong Kong, from November 2017 to June 2019.
Prior to that she worked for XL Catlin, first as business support manager in Shanghai, China from May 2011 to April 2013 and then as manager, global programs and network services in London from May 2013 to March 2014.

She became senior manager, global programs and network services, again in London, in April 2014. She held the position until November 2017, after which she joined AXA XL.

She was responsible for management and growth of XL Catlin’s insurance global programmes across all lines of business globally, including new business development, network management, training, consultation and solution delivery, performance monitoring.
