Button appointed CEO of Davies Group US

Matt Button has been appointed as chief executive of Davies Group in the US.

Based in Nashville Tennessee, Button was previously chief executive, claims solutions US and global head of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) at Davies Group from July 2020 until this month. He was appointed interim chief executive of claims solutions US in October 2019.

Button joined Davies Group as head of corporate development in June 2015 in its offices in London, where he was responsible for M&A activity and supporting strategic initiatives such as financing and planning and played an important role in raising new investment with Silicon Valley based private equity partners, HGGC, in January 2017.

Prior to that he was finance director at Arista Insurance from April 2014, the same month that Arista was bought up by Towergate Group, until June 2015.

He was group mergers & acquisitions manager at Towergate Insurance from July 2012 until April 2014.
