MAXIS GBN promotes Lewis to run new Americas strategic accounts division

MAXIS Global Benefits Network (MAXIS GBN) has promoted Paul Lewis to the role of regional director for the Americas.

In this role Lewis will oversee a new strategic accounts division in the Americas at MAXIS GBN established to expand its client base in the region.

Paul Miehlke has been named as director of this Americas strategic accounts division. Christinea Chase is also expanding her role as a senior client relationship manager for the East of the US, while Diana Daszewski is being promoted to senior account manager. All three report to Lewis.

Lewis has over 15 years’ experience working with multinational organisations and implementing global employee benefits programmes, having joined MAXIS GBN in 2016 and most recently headed up its US East region’s business development team.

Before joining MAXIS GBN he was a regional sales manager with MetLife Expatriate Benefits and had worked for eight years with Aetna within underwriting and international account management.

Lewis reports to Ricardo Almeida, head of business development at MAXIS GBN, who led the Americas team himself before stepping into his current senior role.

He noted that the Americas represents one of the most competitive markets for employee benefits. “Our ambition is to build on our momentum in the region by focusing on innovation while continuing to offer the best solutions and service to multinationals with our experienced, dedicated team,” he said.

Almeida praised the progress the Americas team has already made and predicted more to come under Lewis’ leadership. “We’ll be able to continue the growth in the region and cement both MAXIS GBN’s and our network members’ positions as market leaders,” he said.
