New CEO & president announced at Ryan Specialty Benefits

Ryan Specialty has appointed Dave Przesiek (pictured) to the positions of president & chief executive, of Ryan Specialty Benefits (RSB), its benefits division, effective immediately.

Przesiek has been in the health and benefits industry for over 30 years and joined Ryan Specialty Benefits nearly three years ago through RSB’s largest acquisition. Przesiek has been integral in creating and developing RSB’s strategy to bring industry-leading benefits solutions to the market. Most recently, Przesiek was chief revenue officer.

Pat Ryan, executive chairman of Ryan Specialty, commented, "Dave has been instrumental to the foundation of our Benefits platform and has proven himself as a strong and inspirational leader. Having joined us from nearly the inception of RSB, Dave has built key products and solutions that are in the marketplace today and understands the important trends shaping healthcare. We are excited to have him lead our next chapter of Ryan Specialty Benefits.”

Przesiek assumes the leadership position from John Zern, who leaves Ryan Specialty Benefits to pursue other interests. Remarking on John’s departure, Pat Ryan said, “We thank John for his services and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
