CIC expands sales team with new hire

CIC Services has expanded its team with the addition of Tyler Lamb (pictured) as manager of sales operations and underwriting, bringing nearly 18 years of insurance industry experience to the captive insurance management firm.

Lamb joins CIC Services after serving as a senior underwriter with NSM Insurance Group, where his work included supporting American Collectors and assessing individual risks, assigning risk values, formulating rates within underwriting guidelines and managing loss ratios.

His career has included experience across several areas of the insurance industry. Before joining NSM, Lamb worked as an insurance agent and trainer with AAA The Auto Club Group and previously held roles in claims adjusting and insurance agency sales management with GEICO.

“Tyler stood out because he brings experience across so many areas of the insurance business, from underwriting and risk assessment to sales, claims and training,” said Bryan Ridgway, principal and chief operating officer of CIC Services. “That combination gives him a strong understanding of how the pieces fit together, and it makes him particularly well suited for a role that connects our sales operations and underwriting functions. We’re excited to have him on the team.”

As manager of sales operations and underwriting, Lamb will help support CIC Services’ underwriting activities, risk evaluation and coordination between the company’s sales and underwriting functions. His background in both areas will support CIC Services as the company continues to grow and serve business owners seeking greater control over their insurance programs.
