New captive director at Artex Risk Solutions

John George has been appointed captive director at Artex Risk Solutions.

He is based in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.

“I'm excited to announce that I've joined Artex,” George said in a statement on LinkedIn. “Captive insurance solutions have always been at the top of my list of ‘fun’ parts of the industry. Dedicating my career to captive insurance is something I have long considered, and I couldn't be more thrilled to make the move.”

George was previously account executive at VTC Insurance Group from May 2021 to August 2023, based in Troy, Michigan.

Prior to that he worked for Aon for more than twelve and a half years, first as an account executive and then later as a business development executive.
