Oklahoma captive division seeks deputy commissioner and senior analyst

The captive insurance division (CID) of the Oklahoma Insurance Department is seeking to fill two critical position within the unit, deputy commissioner of captive insurance and senior captive analyst.

The deputy commissioner will report directly to the chief of staff, and is responsible for managing, promoting and providing policy guidance for the CID. It involves ensuring the CID operates efficiently, and represents the OID at industry events and meetings.

For the other position, the senior captive analyst requires a strong understanding of financial analysis and is responsible for reviewing and monitoring the applications and activities of Oklahoma's captive insurers. The position ensures that the captive industry receives prompt decisions on regulatory issues and that captive activities remain aligned with regulatory protections.

"Oklahoma is continuing to see growth in its captive market thanks to the state's efforts to modernise captive regulation. Providing unparalleled service to the captive industry is imperative for the Captive Insurance Division of the Oklahoma Insurance Department," the OID said.
