New captive strategies VP joins CCMS
Ericka McPherson (pictured) has joined Complete Captive Management Services (CCMS) as vice president of captive strategies.
In a statement on LinkedIn she said: “Throughout my career, I've been passionate about helping employers navigate one of their greatest challenges, delivering quality employee benefits while managing rising healthcare costs.
“Whether serving as Executive Director of Covenant Choice and Oklahoma Families for Affordable Healthcare or as General Counsel for Oklahoma Farm Bureau and its affiliated companies, I've been fortunate to work alongside exceptional employers, brokers, healthcare leaders, and policymakers who share a commitment to finding better solutions. Joining CCMS is an exciting opportunity to continue that mission on a broader scale.”
McPherson said that in her new role, she'll be focused on expanding innovative captive strategies that help self-funded employers take greater control of healthcare costs through collaboration, shared-risk models, data-driven decision-making, and innovative cost-containment strategies.
She added that she is also excited to work with brokers, consultants, and strategic partners across the country to bring these solutions to more employers.
“One area I'm particularly passionate about is helping develop innovative healthcare financing solutions for faith-based employers and other mission-driven organizations seeking benefit strategies that reflect their values while promoting responsible stewardship and long-term sustainability,” she said. “Healthcare is changing rapidly, and I believe employers deserve more than simply absorbing another round of rising premiums.
