Capterra Risk Solutions unveils new managing director

Nichole Rae McCabe (pictured) has joined Capterra Risk Solutions as managing director.

In a statement on LinkedIn she said: “Throughout my career, I have believed that the best risk solutions begin by listening. Every business is different, and every captive strategy should be built around a client’s unique objectives, not a predetermined solution.

“That philosophy is one of the many reasons I am so excited to join the Capterra team. Their deep expertise, collaborative approach, and commitment to providing clients with direct access to experienced leadership create an exceptional client experience. At Capterra, relationships come first, and clients receive the personalised attention and strategic guidance they deserve.

“I am looking forward to working alongside this talented team, strengthening relationships with clients and partners, and helping organisations rethink the way they finance risk through customised alternative risk strategies.”

Capterra Risk Solutions commented on LinkedIn: “Nichole brings more than a decade of experience helping organisations evaluate, design, and manage captive insurance and alternative risk financing programs. Her background spans domestic and offshore domiciles, a wide range of captive structures, and clients ranging from privately held businesses to Fortune 100 companies. “We welcome Nichole to the team and look forward to the expertise, perspective, and relationships she will bring to our clients and the broader captive insurance community.”

She was previously the president of Straight Arrow Risk Consulting from December 2025 to July 2026, a boutique advisory firm specialising in alternative risk, captive insurance strategy, and complex risk diagnostics for middle-market and enterprise organisations, which she founded.

McCabe worked at Brown & Brown as vice president risk solutions & senior captive consultant from June 2024 to January 2026.
