
Marsh poaches new captive leader from John Deere
Marsh has announced that Aileen Krehbiel (pictued) has joined Marsh Risk as global strategic client service leader, captive solutions.
According to the company in this newly created role, Krehbiel will lead Marsh's captive strategic deployment across its largest and most complex captive clients globally, working closely with Marsh brokers and advisors to help provide the strategic advice clients are increasingly seeking.
Marsh said that Krehbiel brings extensive expertise in captive insurance placement and operations to the role. She joins Marsh from John Deere, where she most recently served as manager, captive insurance programmes, with additional responsibility for employee benefits technical accounting. Prior to joining Deere, she worked at Ernst & Young in the Assurance Services practice.
Based in Bettendorf, Iowa, Krehbiel reports to Michael Serricchio, US & Canada regional leader, captive solutions.
Commenting on her appointment, Serricchio said: “Aileen’s rare combination of global captive insurance operations experience, technical accounting depth, and a strong corporate risk perspective will benefit clients and colleagues alike as we seek to deliver the strategic advice and creative innovations our largest, most complex clients are seeking in today’s highly volatile risk landscape.”
