RMC Group names executive vice president of risk

Captive management provider RMC Group has appointed Mark Elwell as executive vice president of risk, based in Florida.

Elwell has been with RMC Group since 2014 and manages the company's captive insurance operation, along with its property/casualty agency.

Specifically, Elwell has been responsible for the operational management, client management and quality controls for RMC's captive client base. This involves managing all interactions with insurance regulators, shareholders, board of directors, auditors, tax preparers, and actuaries associated with each captive client.

He is also responsible for promoting, organising and licensing captives in the US and Caribbean.

“I am excited for the opportunity to tackle the new challenges of today and help our clients do the same," said Elwell. "I am looking forward to growing the RMC Group while providing new and alternative risk management and business solutions.”
