SIIA to host COVID-19 webinar for members
The Self Insurance Institute of America (SIIA) will host a webinar to help its members develop and implement an appropriate COVID-19 response strategy.
Titled Coronavirus Emergency Preparedness and Prevention Plan: What Employers, Plan Sponsors and Third Party Administrators Need to Know, the webinar will take place on March 24 at 2pm Eastern time.
The webinar will feature Ashley Gillihan and Nick Chandler from law firm Alston & Bird. They will address questions such as: what questions employers are entitled to ask employees, how employers should communicate suspected cases among staff, what health coverage should be provided, and how benefits will be impacted by furloughs and layoffs.
