SRS appoints new chief business development and marketing officer
Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS), which provides management and consulting services to a wide range of insurance company structures, from single parent captives to re/ insurers, has announced that Marc Kutter will be joining SRS as chief business development and marketing officer (CBDMO).
Starting in late November Kutter will have global responsibility for sales and marketing activities within SRS. This will include continued development of the firm’s existing businesses and extensive partner relationships and the co-ordination of go-to-market strategies for the firm’s expansion into new service and geographical areas.
“Marc has the energy, personality, and talent that fit our vision for the CBDMO role," said Brady Young, chief executive of SRS. “I believe he will be a great leader and will fit well within the SRS culture.”
Kutter brings to SRS more than 29 years of executive leadership and execution in strategic growth initiatives. Prior to joining SRS, Kutter held various roles such as chief growth officer at Benefits Science Technologies, managing partner at Dietrich Partners, and VP of Broker Sales at AFLAC; in addition to starting his career in the US Army where he served in the US Army’s 18th Airborne Corps after completing his education at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.
“With the growth of SRS, we needed a full-time, experienced professional to enhance our business development efforts in several geographic markets, and Marc’s experience is a great fit for what we want to accomplish,” said SRS president Ron Sulisz.
“I’ve worked with the SRS team on various initiatives over the last eight years”, said Kutter. “Their professionalism and 99% client retention are truly impressive. As the captive markets continue to expand, I see tremendous growth opportunities in both health and P&C globally. I’m honoured that Brady, Ron, and the Integrum team asked me to join such an outstanding organisation that is so well versed in captive management, reinsurance strategies, consulting, and compliance.”
