SRS buys UK’s Allenby

The world’s largest independent insurance company manager, Strategic Risk Solutions, has acquired Allenby Consulting Ltd and appointed director and cofounder Neil Campbell as a senior consultant within the risk consulting team.

Based in the UK, Allenby was established in 2014 to provide independent, professional advice on corporate risk financing and alternative risk transfer strategies to large, global companies.

Before founding the company, Campbell led JLT’s global life science practice. He is also one of the originators of the development of unique supply chain insurance solutions responding to regulatory risk in the life science industry. From 1993 to 2005, Campbell was risk manager for Zeneca and AstraZeneca. During that time, he was a project leader in the 2003 creation of Pharmaceuticals Insurance Ltd, Bermuda, the pharmaceutical industry mutual for property and business interruption insurance.

“Neil brings a wealth of experience, and his particular skill-set around ART and structured reinsurance will ensure SRS continue to provide best-in-class risk financing solutions for the benefit of our clients,” said SRS managing director Derek Bridgeman.
