VCIA confirms conference go-ahead

The Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA) has confirmed that this year’s annual conference will go ahead despite the catastrophic flooding that has hit Vermont in recent weeks.

The VCIA said in a statement that the conference was on schedule for August 7-10 in Burlington, Vermont and that based on sign-ups for it, up to 1,000 people could be attending this year.

The VCIA added that its conference app, using the Whova platform, is now live. Attendees can use the app now in the weeks leading up to the event and start networking and building contacts. They can also browse the agenda and refer to conference resource materials.
