Zimmerman moves to MAPFRE

Jesse Zimmerman has been appointed commercial lines leader at MAPFRE, where he will be responsible for defining and leading MAPFRE's commercial lines strategy.

He was previously vice president of small commercial product management at Travelers from April 2012 until May of this year, where he was in charge of the Pacific and mountain west regions, which represented more than $715m in annual premiums.

He was an assistant vice president for small commercial at Travelers from April 2009 to April 2012.

Prior to that he was Americas marketing manager at GE Healthcare from August 2007 to March 2009, having previously been senior manager of product operations at Allstate from October 2003 to March 2009.
