Martinez appointed as managing director of Marsh Latinoamérica

Rene A Martinez has been appointed managing director at Marsh Latinoamérica, effective immediately.

Martinez is now based at Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.

He was previously at Cemex, a company that he joined as an analyst in 1997. He was global director of risk management from 1999 to 2008, treasury and corporate director of risk management from 2008 to 2012 and was then appointed global director of insurance and risk management from 2012 until his departure this month.

Before his time at Cemex he was an analyst for international investment bank analyst at Rodman & Renshaw.
