AM Best withdraws ratings of JLT subsidiary

AM Best has affirmed the financial strength rating of B++ (Good) and the issuer credit rating of “bbb+” of  Isosceles Insurance. The outlook for both ratings is stable.

Concurrently, AM Best has withdrawn the ratings in response to the company’s request to no longer participate in the firm’s interactive rating process.

Bermuda-based Isosceles Insurance is a subsidiary of re/insurance provider Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group (JLT), which offers a rent-a-captive facility.
