Management Services International (MSI) has redomesticated sixteen captives to North Carolina.
The North Carolina Department of Insurance confirmed that the captives had been redomesticated on October 17, 2014, following the approval of the captives former domiciliary regulator.
Jeremy Colombik, president of MSI, said: “We believe that North Carolina is a great place to have captives domiciled there and that is why we have chosen this state.
“North Carolina has professionals who are willing to work with the captive managers to efficiently process applications as well as have the necessary infrastructure to be able properly regulate the business. Our firm sees a lot of potential with North Carolina and will continue working with them on more business now and in the future.”
